All veterans that have served a minimum of 150 days active duty and/or received an honorable discharge or any discharge other than dishonorable are entitled to the following:
- Death Certificates are supplied at no charge for veterans, spouses and dependent children
- The Federal Government supplies a burial flag, burial space and grave marker in Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) cemeteries. Your spouse can be buried with you at no charge.
- A concrete grave liner is provided to you at no charge.
- A military Honor Team is provided at any military and/or private cemetery.
- If burial is in a private cemetery, a veteran’s marker is provided in either solid bronze or grey granite. Installation is not included at a private cemetery.
Please bring us a copy of your discharge papers and/or Form DD214.
